Greenlaw Moor. 15/03/96; Scotland; 248 ha; 55°44'N 002°27'W. Special Protection Area, SSSI. The site consists of an important heather moorland and includes raised mire and two pools. The area of raised moss is well developed and supports a typical flora, including regionally uncommon mosses. Internationally important numbers of Pink-footed Geese Anser brachyrhynchus winter at the site. Human activities include livestock grazing, cutting of vegetation, recreation, and hunting.
